1. Certain neutron stars rotate at about 1.0 revolution per second. If Such a star has a radius of 20 km, what minimum mass must it have so that material on its surface doesn't fly off during the rapid rotation?

You can calculate the acceleration due to rotational motion at the surface. You also know the acceleration due to gravity.
