When i walked out of the exam room, i said that was fkn extremely hard. but when i asked my classmates, they found it piss easy, but when we compared answers, i got the same as them too, therefore.................I PASSED haha

I scored 94% on last years exam, i found it quite straightforward actually (i only lost marks due to sig figures)

This years exam....i'm presuming i lost a total of 10 marks at most.....hopefully

that massive AAS question?

Yeah i got that question no problems actually. Even though it was an original question, it took me 10 minutes to decode the question before i got what the hell it was asking me haha. I took the full 1hr 30min for 2009 though.

I finished this exam at around 12:45, had like 45 minutes to check it, stupid VCAA Supervisor comes to me asking me "have you seen this exam before, you have seemed to finished early with your previous exam as well (Physics)"......the FUCK!? haha

Main problem I had during the exam - the end of Question 2 in the short answer. (the one with the IR, H NMR and C-13 NMR spectra) I wrote down the structural formula for propanoic acid, then I realised that it can't be that as it can't react with a base. "Damnit!" I thought, and started for 10 minutes trying to figure out the structural formula. None of the ones I tried worked. Then suddenly I realised what it must be and I felt stupid for taking so long to realise it. Ethyl methanoate.

i did the same thing as you, but after i wrote propanoic acid, i checked the time, and it was 12 40, i thought the exam finished at one, so i left it and went to do the other questions.  I ended finishing half an hour early, however i forgot to change my answer, even though i checked over my booklet -__- stupid stupidstupid! haha
