There are things like
$\int \frac{dx}{a^2 + x^2} = \frac{1}{a}\tan^{-1} \frac{u}{a} + C$
But you wont need them in methods

not in methods course but i guess its what you classify as 'tricky playing around with integration properties'

Don't swear at me

At methods level you don't get interesting integration problems. The extent is like

$\int_{a}^{b} x+1dx = 20, \int_{b}^{a} x = 100$ solve for a,b.
