Pathways to Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Optometry etc.?

I'm yet to make up my mind on which one I want to do, but what  is the best pathway?

The university representatives always point to the Bachelor of Science degrees, but always try to mumble their way out when I ask what happens if you don't get the required GPA , seeing that they're all have highly competitive entry.

They'll go off to say that Education is a great course or research is a good career, and I'm sure they are, but not something I want to do.

So say I take the Bachelor of Science degree, and don't get accepted because of GPA or other factors, what are my options? Will I be stuck with a degree that won't get me into something I want to do, or are they other pathways?

Thanks guys, appreciate it  :)

Health science at latrobe. Its only around 73 and you may be able to transfer into one of the degrees with an attached masters after the common first year or you might be able to stick out the 3 years in health sciences then with good marks go into an masters degree, at latrobe or perhaps at another uni.

If you finish your degree and can't get into graduate physio/dent/etc. anywhere, then there aren't a lot of pathways left in terms of doing what you want straight away. You can do a masters/graduate research degree and apply again, but that will require more study.

At the end of the day though, the GPA minimums for these courses generally aren't that high, so if you're not making that then you should focus on getting better marks.
