are you doing robert frost poetry?

after his friend ET died (ie. go look up his poems before and after his friend's death and compare their natural landscapes), his imaginative landscapes depicted in his poems reflected his change from somewhat happiness to a sort of morose-ness- the natural landscapes depicted turned from lighter, more lively places to places of turmoil and death.

changes in the way landscapes are externally presented to the world are a manifestation of internal landscapes and can thus reflect the inner changes of a person?   however these internal changes can be masked so they are not always reflected in external landscapes?  umm don't know if that helps, but hopefully.

you can talk about heaps of things
eg/ victorian bushfires - landscape was home for many but the change in landscape through bush fires resulted in many ppl losing their homes, families, environment etc. now they'll be scarred for life.
9/11 - terrorism has changed the views of the world - now everyone is living in fear

also think about, does it necessary for landscape to change so that a person will change? not always.....

i like that idea of the 9/11

so i could talk about in a diary entry format how say i could be of a muslim background and how the event of 9/11 has resulted in discrimination against me and how i hope to one day change it.

is that good?

yeah that's great.
try to be unique in what you write though (esp. the person's emotional state), no cliches cause everybody hates cliches ;)
