I have checked  but not the trial exam solutions for Neap 2007 that my school gave.

1st question is for exam 1 is : Solve the equation Asin(2x)+A for xE range [0,2pie]

1st question for exam 2 is: the range of the function f:[9.13] --R where f(x) = square root x-9 is:

for exam 2, just sub in the x values (9,13) in the eqn and solve for y
so the range is [0,2]

btw first q, is it saying the range is [0,2pi] or domain?

Asin(2x)+A=0
sin(2x)=-1
2x=3pi/2, 7pi/2
x=3pi/4, 7pi/4
