Hey guys
It's been about a week since I began studying for my exams. I've taken the initiative to deactivate Facebook until my final exam is completed and I'm downloading some relaxing classical music to help me study.
What else do VCE veterans here think I should do to get the most out of myself for these exams?
Cheers
hey man
getting rid of facebook is always a good thhing to do.
but bro
i think .. few things you should do
in my opinion
- dont listen to ANY TYPE of music when your studying ... unless its maths.
- make sure you are exercising 30 mins - 1 hour a day ( cardio work .. walking/running/cycling/swimming)
- eating well ( lots of veggies/nuts/tea/non sugar foods/fruits)
- sleeping well .. dont get distracted in your sleep by music etc . try to get full sleep cycles and minimum 7 hours sleep per night ..
now ...
the main thing is
how you study .
personally what i believe ( and its scientificly proven . but dont quote me on it)
the brain shuts down .. or atleast . diminishes in effectiveness after about 50 mins
so study for 50 mins . take a 5 min break ... revise what you studied for 5 mins
take another 5 min break
and back to another 50 mins study .. etc etc
when i say break for 5 mins
make sure you dont watch any tv/electronics/games etc ... it has the potential to interfere with the "setting" of the memory you learned. ... so when your on breaks .. go eat an apple . relax ... day dream .. but obviously not for hours on end .. just 5-10 mins
and most of all
dont stress
just keep studying
obviously you want to do good . just like alot of here ..
you gotta keep working hard
dont procrastinate .. the worst thing you can do is ... waste time thinking about how you want to study ...or when are you gonna study .. just bloody do it ..
keep it up man
i wish you the best of luck
i hope my 2 cents helps out
