Online mathematics lessons

There are quite a number of free sites that offer assistance or explanations that could prove useful in situations where you "just don't get it!"

One example is http://www.purplemath.com/modules/index.htm. A site such as this may just help to fill in a gap in your knowledge or understanding of a particular skill or aspect of the course.

Has anyone else come across any really useful sites that provide explanations and examples that could assist understanding any or all topics in Methods??

I can understand the cynicism.
I think Purplemath is a free American site - so it is hardly self-promotion.
There must be more resources available and wonder if others have found anything useful

Thanks! It had a nice article that dispelled some misconceptions about whether 0.999... = 1.

Sorry to jump to conclusions, Plato. I'll admit that I didn't bother to check the site and made the seemingly wrong assumption that you were doing it with a vested interested. Apologies.

http://www.sosmath.com/

Not exactly written for the VCE syllabus, it has some great articles, and can also help out for first year mathematical sciences =)
