Below is an article that suggests that drug addicted parents should have their children taken away from them. Do you think it is justified or a bit extreme?

Also, do you think that drug or alcoholic affected families would mean that a "student does not meet their full potential"?

This is a category that is recognised by VTAC and some Universities....

I think whether children should be taken from their parents needs to be decided on a case-by-case basis. And I think it's fine to get special consideration if your parents' addictions has impeded upon your academic success.
