Misprint?

was there a error in one of the questions on matricies when they asked for x? i couldnt find x anywhere so i just put the value for p

yea i got -5 too.
i recon it wasnt an error.

it was element 3,1 in the matrix they gave u in the question

It was the inverse of the transition matrix. I got -5 also.
How did everybody answer the last questions for Matrices? did you do "matrix g" to the power of whatever times a?

no the answer was x = -5
the question showed that the matrix had been inversed
so all u had to do was find the inverse of the original matrix and x = -5

I kept following the formula

yes i did that. and i kept in mind that the initial state was S1, not S0 like i normally work with
so i had to decrease a power by 1, whatever the question was....
