question regarding 11b ( SOLVED)

I have a question regarding 11b..

When i read this question i did not know how to answer it as i interpreted it as a completely different cylinder, and therefore thought you cannot make the assumption that the relationship determined in part a (q 11) can be used for any cylinder.
so ... is there any truth in what i thought or am i completely disillusioned

So what did you end up doing?
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

These Questions are always the same, they tend to follow a similar pattern.

Whenever they give TSA and ask to find something in terms of something, then they always expect you to substitute a value/expression from previous q's . Also, the fact that it was only one mark, blew it all away. So i think in your case you thought too hard for a simple question, and went beyond what they were expecting.

Don't get so upset, i do it sometimes myself. It happens.
But i still believe you did relatively well, or at least, better than me.

i doubt it, i made heaps of mistakes, i used the variance instead of std, accidently said the period of the function was like 2pi/3 instead of 6pi,  i tried completing the square to find p for probability then accidently havled the answer or some stuff. Oh well , hopefully ill be more calm for exam 2. good luck for your other exams.

Hey Whatlol, relax, no stress! A lot of people could not do that question at all, so it's no big deal!
You tried your best, and you have to be proud of yourself for that! :D
We're all intelligent! It's just that some people are yet to find this gift within themselves.
