MY CALCULATOR FROZE!!!!!

On the last question of the pyramid part I had forgotten to half the volume of the previous, but I knew that I had done so.
But that minor mistake cost me 5 min, as the calculator had FROZEN WHILE LOADING! >:(
After almost throwing my TI-nspire at a wall, I pulled out and replaced the batteries which reset my history including EVERYTHING I HAD DEFINED!!! :tickedoff:
Did this happen to anyone esle and do u think it can be considered a genuine excuse?

It's not an excuse for anything. You won't get special provisions by complaining that your calc froze - that's just bad luck. As part of methods you are meant to have a working CAS anyway, so it's your fault if yours doesn't work.

I really don't think there are such thing as 'excuses' when it comes to VCE.

Sorry to hear what happened though.

My solution:-

1. Get all your methods notes and what not, that you used this year, and make a nice little pile.  :)
2. In the middle of that pile, place your TI-nspire.  ;)
3. Grab a lighter and catch some of your notes. :uglystupid2:
4. Say bye-bye to methods...unless you're in year 11 like me and face the possibility of repeating.  :'(

Yeh well I am in year 11 but not repeating.
I still think I did alright, but just disappointed about my bad luck.
Would have done better with more time.

I could have done the pyramid if i had another day to do the exam :P I actually got equations for each side length, but getting it in the form they required and putting it altogeher did not work for me. Also... calculator would not accept a domain so I just wrote my method out and hopefully will just lose the answer mark.

Ani you are absolutely ridiculous, seriously.  ;D

Why on earth would you waste such a precious resource?  :D

Good grief, the people at your school know nothing.

Mine did too when I was trying to gather CM in the last 10 minutes...luckily I got it on again after taking batteries out and in a few times...not really sure if what I used it for after that amounts to anything though. :P
Hmm...next year already. Well better set my goals and all...(raw)
