There are advice and enrolment days earlier than that but O week is usually last or second last week of feb

Actually, next semester at UoM starts a little bit early.  It starts on the 28th of Feb.  Basically most institutions start at the same time in semester 1.  If you want an idea, visit here and scroll down to the 2011 academic calendar.

Yeah.  Why 2 weeks in semester 2?  It seems so random.  don't think this would be relevant but just putting it out there, talking to a few international friends, they've all said that there's no point going home because it's too short.
