Do they we get notified of them the same time as round 1 offers come out?
2009: Accounting
2010: English | Methods (CAS) | Specialist Maths | Chemistry | Chinese SL
2011: Bachelor of Commerce/Engineering @ Monash

It depends on what scholarship and what uni. VTAC notifies you of your round 1 offers. The scholarships though are completely up to the uni to distribute. Some scholarships are offered during the week you get your results, some before your results and some you get the week before uni starts

Yeah this.  However, before round 1 offers are released, you might get a letter from VTAC informing you of the institutions that are unlikely to give you a scholarship.  I think it's rather demoralising, but at least you won't get your hopes up.

Ah i see fair enough, do the institutions inform you via email if you do happen to receive one?

Email, phone call, sms, mail. They can notify you via any medium. My friend got an SMS saying he received one, and then received the letter in the mail the next day. I however just got mine sent in the mail

What happens if we are overseas at the time?

I don't know exactly but I guess if they can't contact you via phone or SMS, then they'll try email and definitely mail.

Does anyone know how maybe scholarships are offered through second round for RMIT?
