Change From CSP to Full-Fee?

Just out of curiosity (I don't intend to do this...)
... actually i might  :P

Let's say that the minimum ATAR specified for a course is 85 (also guaranteed for International Students).
However, the Clearly-in Rank was 90 (for CSP).

Let's assume that i obtain an ATAR of say.. 87.5
Also, i receive no 1st round offers for the course
-and will unlikely receive 2nd round offers
Assuming that I am determined to get into that course and Uni (no matter the price - money makes the world go round  ;D), how do I go about getting into that course on the same year? (without transferring courses, etc.)

Would i have to contact the Uni and ask about changing to full-fee?

or.. could i have avoided the situation by placing both CSP and Full-Fee courses into my VTAC preferences list?
or.. would i have to do my first year as full-fee and the remainder as CSP?

-> All of this assumes that "money is not an issue" and I intend to do all of this "legally" - no under the table deals, etc.
-> It also assumes that i have no access to scholarships, SEAS, etc...

They removed full-fee places a few years ago. Only way to get into a course is through CSP unless the course only offers full-fee (which only exists for some small courses such as photography and some TAFEs).

The reasons you mentioned is kinda why they got rid of it. Money should never be a factor in deciding who gets to do what course. It's unfair for someone with rich parents to get into a course over someone who performed better but unable to pay full-fee

It is still possible to pay to enroll in single subjects. If you do well in them the results can be used for entry into the course in a CSP.
