VCE General tips on how to score well?

I did shockingly on my 3/4 exam this year, and knowing that many of you have done exceptionally well I was wondering.. What are some tips you can provide me with in order to maximize my marks? Must I revise each night for every new topic covered, and should I write notes these holidays for some subjects? What techniques are good or worked well for you? I plan to stay motivated and consistent to redeem myself from this years epic failure of a 3/4. So any advice guys... Especially on what to do these holidays to prepare. Thanks, much appreciated.. That's all i really did for methods this year, didn't write notes or anything .... though I wouldn't repeat the VCAA ones, especially if you have a good memory and can just remember all the right answers ..

sleep well, pay 200% attention in class and as soon as you get home, look over the notes u wrote in class instead of crashing onto the sofa/bed. hehehe. make good summary notes in holidays so you have everything u need in one booklet/folder. :uglystupid2: also, pester the teacher, pay them visits/email them during ur spare or lunch periods to ask them stuff u don't know about. and read vcenotes as your motivation - lots of great people on here with good ideas to share
