No tips for economics? Where are all the awesome people who did economics gone? Everyone knows any doing eco is mega/epically cool.

That being said, Tips for Economics:
Read, Read, Read and Read. Read the textbook, read the VCAA assessment reports, read answers to questions, read other textbooks...etc. etc.
Aim to finish going through the textbook at least once before school starts. While you are going through the book, write up your own set of notes based on the new study design. As eco has M/C questions (worth 1/3 of the exam), the key for these is to practice. I did around 1000+ M/C questions as practice (according to our solutions on VN, I got 15/15 :)).
More tips to come when I get my results :P

Congratulations on your mark! :D

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

P.S. I'll upload my economics notes later when I have finished proof-reading them (it may take a while - 30something pages -.-)

(I have not obviously completed VCE yet)

I have a friend doing latin and he finds motivation by reading the Harry Potter latin versions. He says it is hard work but is great motivation for him.
My friend has the entire series in French - I'm planning on borrowing it off her and reading it through the year.

It's really satisfying when you find that you can actually use your LOTE outside the classroom context. It's nice to dip into a podcast/radio station/magazine/book/film/etc. Initially, it takes a bit to get the gears grinding, but after a while, you forget that it's not English, and just go with the flow.
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.

It's a fun way to improve vocab and fluency...although I doubt an extensive knowledge of magical spells in your LOTE is going to be useful for the exam :P
