I don't do Drama, but Theatre Studies, however because not too many people here do drama and preforming arts, I'll reply just in case no one else does!
What I've found with these subjects is that they are ones where it becomes easy to bludge your way through the year and do very little work. However you'll pay for that at the end of the year. Preforming Arts are heaps of fun though and they're great hands on subjects. I've found it especially enjoyable because I've been in a class with some other great actors. The plays you get to view are great as well.
One tip I'll give you is that when it comes to performances (whether they be plays, monologues etc) learn your lines as early as possible. This will give you a head start in really creating a great character, because the magic begins with you put down the script!
