Haha I'm no Derrick Ha, and I freely admit that. I wished I had his brains.

Suppose he is abnormally pro for a genius...

He probably made tests for himself to do in school every week (made them in year 11, sat them in year 12)

(just a minor off-topic: does anyone but me think the pencil in the compass of the image in the banner of Derrick's site is a computer graphic and not a photo? See here. The pencil just looks to 'perfect'...)

Maybe he's perfect at sharpening pencils too... And the pencil has a perfect gloss.

Wish I was that pro.

Me too... I got one of the bottom 10 exam results in the year 9 art exam (~40%). There was this yellow-green painting that I interpreted as 'cheese'. Apparently it was wild grass. ;D

(in a feeble attempt to get back on topic... my bad)
I only have tests for maths and chem. Wish I had some for physics though

AHAHAHAHA :D :D (actual LOLs right there).
I can't believe you actually have an art exam. 0_0

When I was living in Malaysia, we had an art exam in Grade 1. I just drew a massive picture of a house and my parents - got an A+ :D :D

Back on topic:
I have a philosophy test on Monday that I'm yet to study for... :S

Well if your school gives you so many tests that it starts to take away from learning in class... i guess that can become a problem, on the flip side gives you tons of practice in application and reason to study -
are they all SAC's?
No lol they are just diagnostic tests so stupid honestly valuable class time.

For a subject like Revs, you have to constantly need to have your knowledge tested, as the course moves fairly quickly and you need to be up to the pace, as there is heapsss to know. We have weekly tests in our class, and these actually force us to study and drill the events into our heads!

Wow, that's actually really good! :)

Memorising dates and quotes for the exam will be a breeze if you're having frequent tests!

I kinda wish we did that too. We have weekly essays/document analyses but everything was either take home or cheat-sheet-able so I never got around to actively memorising the dates until SWOTVAC. :P
