Hi my name is Jennifer Duong and I completed the VCE in 2010 at The MacRobertson Girls High School.

I am tutoring English for years 11 and 12 that is exam-orientated, working on the key components that are going to be examined in the final year of VCE. I will be focusing on essay writing skills, structure, vocabularly and expression, which are the pillars for a strong essay and the neccessary skills that a confident English student should have. Students are advised to bring work from school so I can supplement the set coursework, however I also provide my own work which we work through during our lessons.

I can also offer advice on how to study and prepare for SACs and exams at school, which is a huge advantage for students who want to get the upper hand on their peers. I can tell you what to focus on and what not to, as the ability to manage your time well becomes increasingly important as your work load and stress begins to mount.

To sum up, I hope that I will be able to provide you with valuable insight on how to attain the highest English score you possibly can by being a mentor and a friend!

I can tutor at the Sydenham, Sunshine or Footscray libraries or if you prefer at the City Library or State Library in the Melbourne CBD.
