Saw it in a chapter about incline motion in an old textbook and just wondering if thats actually true

the friction force depends on the co-efficient of friction and the normal force acting on the object. If the angle increases, the normal force on the object decreases, hence the friction force from the surface to the object decreases. (the co-efficient of friction is a constant for a particular object and surface or at least in VCE physics they are)
