Don't make your own unless you learn best that way, it's an extremely inefficient use of time. Just walk into the exam naked and bound-referenceless... OR go to derrick ha and get his :D

Im saying he wont live up too your expectations.

You tell me, how can someone in 6 hours, speaking to mass group of 300+
gain you a high score, over the whole 12 - 13 years of schooling ?

sounds like ur expectations are pretty high for a revision lecture. i dont think even einstein could overcome someone's 12-13 years of schooling in 6 hours....

I went to both TSFX and Derrick Ha last year for Methods. This year I'm planning to only go to Derrick Ha for Spesh.
Derrick Ha is pro and his bound book is pretty awesome.

hey m@tty and crappy. i haven't heard of this guy before so i'm a bit unsure. i'm doing methods and am tossing up between writing my own bound book and using one like his. what do you recommend? i've got six subjects this year so i'd prefer to save time and get a premade one if i can

hmm, its different for everyone. I like writing my own notes for science subjects but not really maths, feels weird. I took derrick ha's book into my spesh exam and I got it bounded with other tutoring notes and like 30-40 loose leaf papers. I didn't write notes in the blank paper, but just examples of hard/tricky questions and common mistakes to avoid. If you have 6 subjects, it's probably best to get a pre-made one.

Derrick Ha surpasses both Neap and TSFX.

He knows his stuff well and can explain the crux of the concepts and formulas rather than just give it to you and tell you to do this and that.

His bound reference is also detailed and has step-by-step examples for those who find it hard sometimes to follow the worked solutions in tsfx where no explanation is given, but simply a whole page of solutions.

He is also a good speaker despite being in 3rd year university, you can find his credentials for public speaking on his website where he has been in national debating/mooting competitions.

Derrick Ha is my regular tutor as well. I've been to Tsfx as well, trust me he is so much more easy to understand, the quality of his teaching is much better than tsfx.

Like the people in the other companies are old and are pretty qualified, but they haven't done VCE as it is recently, Derrick actually puts it in terms that are easy to understand, and he's pretty funny too.

hmm for accounting last year i went to the vcta lecture and it was pretty detailed. Not sure if it is the same presenter for the mid-year but last year for the end of year one of the presenters was Vicki Baron (a teacher at my school) and one bad thing is she talks pretty fast and you don't really have much time to take down notes.
Forgot which accounting one I went to for the mid year though...

Um for chem this year I'm planning to go to the TSSM lecture but I'm not sure if they are good but kinda expensive at around $100.
