How do you keep motivated?

Ok guys so I've been struggling a lot lately, in three of my subjects, my other two I can manage nothing below an 85% which I'm quite proud of, but those three problem subjects always put me down. So I was wondering how do you guys keep motivated after a bad SAC score, a bad day, a bad lesson, just how do you manage to do it? For example, in my accounting class I fail to understand many core concepts, due to a lack of knowledge of unit 1 + 2.

Can anyone give me any ideas, to keep me going?

I'm aiming to become an acedemic psychologist in a field, but havn't decided what one yet, or to become a information technology specalist.

I want to leave the year at the best score I possibly can. But I don't feel as if I'm achieving my full potential.

But still I lack motivation. :(

Ask your teachers for extra help with areas you're unsure of, study smart (as opposed to just studying hard) and MOST importantly, Be positive :)

Motivation..I guess when you look towards your goal, you just want to work till you reach there. For me, I told myself this year will finish, it's close, either make the most of it or regret much of it later
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

You only go through Year 12 once, enjoy the ride, you'll never experience high school again.

And thank God for that.

To OP, don't let one crappy SAC score bring your motivation down. I've had plenty, but I figure if I give up now then I'll regret it later, knowing I never achieved what I potentially could have. You never know when your marks and understanding will improve, but they never will if you give up now. :) So keep going! Only 5 or so months now :P

For me it's not so much of finding new sources of motivation but waiting until times of deflation have past. Calm down, take a break and genuinely rest for a few hours. Remind yourself why you're doing Year 12, and you'll find the inspiration to continue.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

Quote
Year 12 Aims Are:
To have a decent and well deserved score in my subjects, as well as being able to get an ATAR strong enough to get into a university of my choice.

There's your problem right there.
Quantify your goals.

What ATAR score do you need for your dream course?
What study score does that mean you'll need for each of your subjects?
What exam score does that mean you'll need?
You get the idea.

I'm quite sure studies have proven that people perform better when they set themselves very specific goals, even if they're difficult to achieve, compared to those who aspire to achieve lofty, unfocused goals.
