Your answers and VCAA answers

i was just wondering after doing the VCAA exams, are your answers exactly the same length as theirs, or a bit longer and go into more detail?
Suppose if tommorow's exam is easier would you give more specific answers and if it was harder give more in depth answers ?

And how do you guys differentiate between tight and easy marking when you guys correct your own exams?

VCAA answers are a skeleton for your response - in most cases your answers should be longer because you need to follow the direction they have given you - e.g. explain, outline.

Your answers aren't going to be the same as VCAA's but as long as they make sense and you haven't contradicted yourself and the answer is correct, then you would get the mark. I always write more than necessary and expand my answers just in case and it's always good to add more information if you aren't sure how much you are supposed to write.

Long as they answer the question, length doesn't really matter.

Also, be aware of including extra knowledge or things related to the topic but that aren't really the answer.

If the extra stuff you write is incorrect, the whole answer could be marked in correct. So, try not to waffle. If you don't know the answer and think, ill just write a lot of good sounding jargon and theyll think im smart...bad thinking. If what you write is wrong, your whole answer could be marked wrong. So, caution kids.
