Oh well.  The company is laughing getting free advertising (I doubt a promise in a facebook group is legally binding)...or some prankster has just got the private addresses of tens of thousands of people.

I thought the joke was in that you like a page to get a sweater that advertises their site...in the end it benefits them, and all you get is a stupid sweater. Assuming it's not a scam. I guess it'd cost them to produce the sweaters, but I've seen more lucrative advertising gimmicks. Plus I think people just like FB pages because it's easy - come on, naming your kid Megatron just for some likes? Seriously? Why didn't my parents come up with that?!
