Is it possible to get your exam remarked or reassessed? If so, what are the costs and procedures?

Thanks

Man, I just received my statement of marks and I was 1 point off from getting an A (my teacher and I thought getting an A+ was certain) it's fuckin bullshit. They took off marks for no reason, fuckin dogs.

Well, it is - but it can only really be flagged from the teacher end (in case of clerical error).

The checks and balances incorporated into the marking process (e.g., the indicative mark) generally ensure that your mark is correct.

Yeah, in that instance - you're probably out of luck.

similar situation to me. I though I'd lost more marks then I should have
I concluded I was probably just being stupid, and just disappointed that I missed out of an A+ (by 0.5 marks! 1mark after doubling)

Just remember, its not the GRADE that matters, its the total of the marks so don't get too distressed because of your grade

If you are concerned about your mark, order an inspect of scripts. Have a look with your teacher and see if there are grounds to appeal

He implied that he already had it by thinking that 'they took off marks for no reason' and knowing his raw score.

Nah he hasn't seen his script yet. If he sees his script with his teacher or whatever and they identify massive fuckups then he might be able to quietly approach VCAA to fix it

If VCAA made a massive mistake, they would have to fix it. Otherwise they would be sued lol
