i did A because i concentrated more on unit 3 and i spent a lot of time studying referenda/high court...changing division of powers

my teacher was adament that the words "doctrine of precedent" were going to be on the exam

all u have to do is
1a) do the slight introduction
1b) say something like, the ability to set precendent in different circumstances depends on where the court is in the hierachy
2) precedent can come about two ways
3) when there is no relevant legislation...explain process and effect on precedent and how, because there is no relevant legislation that the court is not bound
4)similar stuff with when there IS relevant legislation
5) conclude with somehting smart
