Yeah but the US has a population of 300 million, whereas 15% of 1.1 billion or whatever China's population is is only 165 million.

Hmmm....

"The countries with the highest populations of native English speakers are, in descending order: United States (215 million),[23] United Kingdom (58 million),[24] Canada (18.2 million),[25] Australia (15.5 million),[26] Ireland (3.8 million),[24] South Africa (3.7 million),[27] and New Zealand (3.0-3.7 million).[28] Countries such as Jamaica and Nigeria also have millions of native speakers of dialect continua ranging from an English-based creole to a more standard version of English. Of those nations where English is spoken as a second language, India has the most such speakers ('Indian English') and linguistics professor David Crystal claims that, combining native and non-native speakers, India now has more people who speak or understand English than any other country in the world.[29] Following India is the People's Republic of China.[30]"

Because it seems as though I will have Spec and English on the Friday, then Biol and Further and Spec on the Monday...

Ouch?

For those who care, my VCE coordinator spoke with VCAA and I get the following special consideration for the Monday where I have 3 exams:
-I can pick what times during the day I sit the 3 exams, even though I still have to sit them in the same order. There will be a supervisor who follows me all day to make sure I don't cheat!
-I get 10 mins extra writing time for each one of the exams.
-I get a derived score for the last exam (Spec Exam 2!) assuming this derived score is higher than the score I actually receive.

So, even though my timetable is shit, at least VCAA is giving me a little bit of help!

Although I don't envy your position, you have got a pretty decent deal. An extra 10 minutes could be really useful, especially if they make an exam that people struggle to finish.
