In 2009, I will be offering tutoring services to students for Accounting, Economics, Business Management and Indonesian. Regrettably, I am very new to VCENotes, and as you can see by my registration date I only joined this fantastic community, at the end of the exam period.
I recognise that every individual student has different goals and objectives, and I will strive to assist you in achieving your targets. I understand that the VCE is an incredibly daunting and nerve racking ordeal for any student- and rest assured that I will approach each lesson, in a manner that will best help alleviate the associated stresses, by providing comprehensive study notes, succinct explanations, and the ability to motivate you to fulfill your potential.
My method of tutoring will involve helping you not only understand the theoretical concepts to each topic- but also to be able to adequately express your knowledge in the form of exam answers. I will provide comprehensive notes for each subject- and worked answers and model responses that I have compiled from not only my work, but other students and teachers who are knowledgeable on the topics. Having completed these subjects, and recognizing the trials and tribulations endured to finish the courses on time, I will have devised timetables, in order to fulfill your goals. Most of all, I will endeavor to make the subject as EASY and ENJOYABLE as possible for you!

Business Management:
I achieved a study score of 50 this year of VCE Business management- and this was undoubtedly my favourite subject this year. Many will question the necessity of a Business Management tutor, which is understandable. However, given the highly competitive nature of the subject, it is imperative that students have access to information and strategies that will help them attain success. Considering the incredibly harsh scaling for the subject, a wise student would seek to safeguard their study scores by ensuring that they know the perfect techniques in which to answer these tricky exam questions.
Economics:
This year, I achieved a final score of 43.6 in Economics- a score that I was slightly disappointed with. Nevertheless, Economics is a subject that I am able to speak very confidently about- and assist you with.
Economics is a greatly challenging subject- and one that is extremely difficult to score well in. I believe that the only way to successfully complete this subject, is to enjoy it. From a personal point of view, in Year 11 I struggled with the subject, as I did not enjoy it. However, I was extremely fortunate in Year 12, as my Economics teacher was able to engender a passion for the subject- and under his guidance I excelled.
I wish to be able to impart these techniques upon any student- so that they are able to enjoy this truly wonderful subject.
Accounting:
I completed Accounting in Year 11 as a unit 3 and 4 sequence, and I attained a final ENTER subject score of 46. I have a passion for Accounting, and I will be undertaking an Accounting CADETSHIP in one of the Big 4 accounting firms next year- and fact which underlines my passion for the subject.
Again, I feel that success of any kind in this subject, is reliant upon enjoying the subject- and as a tutor for the subject- I will endeavor to effectively communicate the principles of the subject, to make it easy to understand.
Indonesian:
In 2008, I achieved a final scaled score of 47 in the subject.
Indonesian is not a incredibly popular language, a fact that is quite disappointing- given the beauty of the culture and the people. For any student doing this subject- I would heavily recommend getting a tutor (be it me or another individual) as the concepts of the oral examination and detailed study, are not ones that can be left to chance.
I also achieved ENTER subject scores of 44.6 for Mathematical Methods and 42.8 for ENGLISH- and would be willing to provide any help necessary for the subjects. I would gladly offer my services to students who need particular help with the Language Analysis component, a section in which is scored full marks for in assessment.
Fees can be negotiated upon request, and tutoring can be done from a mutually convenient location either in the South Eastern suburbs or in the city- however as a guide the fees will be approximately $20 per hour.
Of course, I will be happy to offer the first two sessions FREE of charge, at which point if you are not satisfied with my services, you are free to leave at any time.
