Doing my back to school shopping on Friday, cannot wait!
I only really need to buy looseleaf, dividers, plastic pockets, display folders, and the other general stationery items,  and am thinking of getting a printer. I ordered my folders, and books off my booklist.

What kind of stuff do you need for uni? Notebooks + pens?  Do you need ring binders or anything?

well for me a keep a big like 600 page ring folder thingo with plastic sleeves that i put all my loose leaf notes from all my subjects and seperate it, keeps it organised... unis all bout the notes lolz.. and just a notebook to write all your notes in... and pens etc.. thats it

I started off kinda organised - I had a 5 section ring binder book.

But then I ran out of pages (only 3 subjects 4 a 5 section binder and I still ran out)... started writing in other sections, writing on loose leaf... u get the idea XD

This semester: Chapter summaries go on loose leaf (not in the binder book...), tute notes IN the binder book 4 a change, and lecture notes... well, they're lecture notes... srsly, some ppl's lecture notes r SO neat with little handwritten notes and dot points on the slides... I will give a prize 2 whoever can decipher my notes XD

I intend 2 put all my lecture notes in display folders again, 1 4 each subject - I put, say, the Ch.3 lecture slides/notes in, then in the nxt plastic pocket I'll have my Ch.3 summary, then Ch.4 notes, then Ch.4 summary, etc... I usually put the unit outline in the 1st plastic pocket so it's easy 2 find, and I slip any important notes/handouts near the front as well so I c them.

That's pretty much wot I did this semester, except 4 micro... coz they gave us a lecture book with all the notes in it.

Once I sort thru all my files and shelves I shall go stationery shopping, coz then I'll know exactly wot I need.

You don't need anything special. I just had a notebook to wrote notes for all my subjects in (hardly used them), I much preferred writing notes on the lecture slides themselves. Also didn't bother with a folder or binder, just had a stack of papers for each subject on my shelf.
