20 seconds on Limewire is freakishly fast. it usually is about 5~10 minutes...

Yeah, everything is so fast in apple servers. I always get my maximum throughput (1.0MB/s) when downloading updates, viewing clips etc. Must be their Mac Xserves

gfb is right. iTunes have album art, and with faster download speeds we can download greater quality songs from iTMS (iTunes Music Store) for less $$$. Coversutra is also one.

I mean, who uses discmans now! HDD mp3 players are the way to go (iPod etc). There's just no point for going to the store now, it's rendered useless.

I prefer GimmeSomeTune and don't get me started on album art, lol. I'm so pedantic when it comes to it - every single song of mine has album art attached to it.

Nah I don't use discmans either, but I like the fact that I'm able to rip the music in any format or any bitrate I want. And I think flash-based mp3s are the way to go, rather than HDD

...but dont the songs you download through itunes have DRM? I mean when your downloading them it does not really feel that you have the right to them due to the restrictions.

Some of them have DRM, although the ones that are tagged as 'iTunes Plus' do not have any restrictions and are of higher quality.
