WHY ISNT DELL LAPTOP CHARGING?

i had a friend whose Toshiba laptop did the same thing, a few times

and it always manage to get fixed somehow, and she never remembers how.

have you installed any new software recently?

if not, try a system restore.

my guess is hardware. have you checked the connection between the battery and the laptop itself?

Yeh I think it's hardware. Nah no new software Mao.

Well it's running off the electricity through the wall right now. But if I unplug it, the battery won't be any fuller. It's been like this for a few days. I might try some stuff tonight to try and get it working.

Ok. It is almost certainly a problem with the charger.
My brother has the same laptop as me so I went and plugged my laptop into his cable and it started charging instantaneously.

yea its the charger, happened to my laptop earlier this year... it just stoped charging

I had to buy a new charger and it worked... I'm not sure what calling them would do, unless you have some sort of warranty, which includes giving a free new charger ?

This is a very common issue.

Call Dell, and see if you can get a replacement.
