Hotel check in time

Just a quick question about hotel check in times.
When they specify a check in time, do you have to check in any time after the time, or on that time?
Im not sure.

Any time after that time. It's probably best to call them prior and let them know when you anticipate you'll be checking it. That way they are ready.

U check-in any time after check-in time.

U check-out BEFORE check-out time, otherwise some hotels charge a late check-out fee.
