Call of Duty: World at War

Anybody played it? How is it?

I'm thinking of buying it , need a few opinions/reviews .

I haven't played it, but my mate said COD4 is much better than this.

IGN is a relatively fair review site. Should always give them a look.
From what I've heard, it's not as bad as people expected it to be (give that the makers of COD3 made this, which was a total flop). It borrows a lot of COD4's elements, so if you enjoyed COD4 you'll enjoy this.
There's been a graphical update, although based on the COD4 engine so it'll look good either way.
The campaign is relatively short (I'm think it was shorter than COD4) but all the emphasis is around multiplayer. Fast and addicting, the addicting part much like COD4's

CoD WaW is set in the era of WWII . i.e. WWII weapons, so some players might experience better gameplay in cod 4 , yeh.

But I heard that the storyline is awesome (for single player)... I really want to buy it :D

Is it for computer or console?
If it's for computer, it's one of the top played games right now so you should have a blast with everyone in the holidays.
