Since I somehow got myself into organising this event, I better start so... I need to find out who can bring what... and who is attending and when we will schedule a time for this event to take place and of course where.

So this is what we need:
-Meat... Vegetarian burgers, etc for those of you who are vegetarian, or any other dietry requirements..
-Oil
-Salad (Vegetables cut up in a bowl, and dressing left in a bottle... you know the drill)
-BBQ utensils
-Entertainment... (If you have any ideas feel free to post)
-Chairs (preferably the fold up ones) or blankets if you prefer... (perhaps we could find a place with tables and chairs? (I'll look up some places)
-Drinks
-Plates, cups, forks, spoons, napkins, etc
-First aid kit?
-Snacks
When this event will take place:
Some time around the 10th-24th (I think) Please state your preferred day.. [Bare in mind if I'm organising this... I wont be available on the 14th and 16th and from the 22nd to the 26th of January)

Where this event will take place:
I don't know as of this very moment... if anyone knows of any places feel free to let me know!

As for a plan B, I was thinking of bowling, however you need to book in advance for such events to take place...

Let me know what you can bring!

Thanks

As for me, I'm not too fussed about a time since I have no employment yet. But the weekend would probably be the best for everyone, so either the 10th/11th or 17th/18th. Birrarung Marr is a good place to have a BBQ, but if people wanted to walk around, play sport, etc then maybe some place like the Alexandra Gardens would be better. I'd be able to bring things like drinks/snacks, and also maybe a footy and a cricket set as well, except I have a couple of crappy bats.
Some snippets of what goes on in IRC:
