so im assuming alot of people here doing medecine/nursing/science/allied health will come across an anatomy subject in their time. i bought my books and nearly died when i bought home my anatomy and physiology book. not only is it enormous but it is sooo detailed and scary. do i seriously need to learn every single little detail in this book? it looks like it will take me 10 years to read the bloody thing, let alone retain all of the information.  :o

How long is your course? Maybe those books actually last you about 3-4 years of study?

my course is 4 years in length. double degree.
i only have human structure and function for this year according to my list of units. oh emm gee. there are so many big words and terms and sequences of processes. alot of it is from biology (which i neglected to do much in) sooo it looks like im in for a very loong year. unless any past HS&F students can prove me wrong? *waits patiently*

Tell me about things being daunting. I got my Psychology uni books and couldn't understand any of the statistics I'll have to do.

oh gosh psych would be a hard course.... my friends mum (who works in the monash gippsland psychology department) said it was hard to do well in. (i dont mean to get you down. im sure you will do well if you try to. and then again, friendsmum did just finish telling me about how badly behaived and lazy a certain year level of psych students are, so this probably isnt a good gauge of difficulty. sorry to confuse you.) apparently yr12 psych has nothing on it, anyway. good luck though. i thought of psych as a career, but then decided i rly want to be an obstetritian so... gosh the medicine booklist must be a million times more scary than mine....
