congrats ham.
what still confuses me is how do he interviewers remember how ever single person went on their interview? i mean do they like write down how the interview is going during the interview or what?

The interviewers do jot down some notes about what you're saying during the interview.  They also take a photo of you before your interview so they can match the name with the face, I guess!

Dont they assess you on the spot? Like in terms of grading and stuff...?

Interviews sound really scary.
What type of questions do they ask?
Are there obvious ones like, 'why do u want to do medicine?'
A guy in a lecture said that adelaide uni ask stupid questions like, 'what colour is time.'
He also said that in response to your questions they ask 'why' so many times to see what your response is under pressure
The interviewers even made some people cry

But that was adelaide uni
I bet monash are much nicer

i think i am living proof that the interview in med counts for a lot.

i got the lowest possible umat to get an interview, 61
a dissapointing enter of 95.30

and i got in, most likely cos of what must have been a kick-ass interview.

(rurual cohort but i am not a rural student)

i am over the moon

Yea, Monash has a reputation for having a really weighty interview; the breakdown a couple of years ago was 50% Interview, 25% UMAT, 25% ENTER... Although this year they said that they were reducing the weightage of the interview; obviously not by much though.

Anyway congrats on your place in med, also.. your definitely not the lowest ENTER coming in, I already have a friend with a 93.00 ENTER who got a CSP bonded place, he aced the interview like you I'm assuming.
