I just thought it would be a good idea if people put up the route they took on their driving test. I have my test in a week and would like to know what routes people were taken on in Broadmeadows. thanks :D

You get the route map? :S

I only thought that you get the number of the test route specific to the VicRoads venue...(e.g Route 6 at Frankston)

nah not the exact map. but if people are familiar with the area some may remember street names and what to look out for. if anyone remembers anything it would be great help.

1. Stop at stop signs.
2. Don't stall.
3. Use your mirrors.

You'll be fine.

thanks for that. i was wondering, when turning, if i turn left do i have to be in the left lane (when there's multiple), and right into the right lane. i've never heard anyone use this rule besides my instructor, wanna clear up if its true or not.

peetah, i just had mine 2 weeks back and from Broadmeadows.

The usually go around Dallas, you know the big round about near ericsson and hum central college.
If not there, they go around the old school(hillcrest) towards westmeadows.
If your going around dallas, there going to test you around camp road, and olsen place.
Around those areas.

Unless road arrows or signage indicates otherwise, yes.

when turning right from multi-lanes, turn right from the left lane. This makes it easier for you and assures you that you wont hit the side curve once entering a new road.
and vise versa.

If you have a good examiner during the test, s/he will clearly instruct which lane to turn from and which lane to turn into, which makes it much easier.

In real life, you can turn left if the lane you are in has a left-turning arrow painted on it.  If not, choose the left-most lane.

Always (unless otherwise instructed) turn right from the left lane.
Always do a headcheck before changing lanes.
Always look in the rear-view mirror before doing ANYTHING.
Always make physical movements when you are checking mirrors, so that the inspector notices you.
Always keep an eye on the speedo, don't go too fast, don't go too slow (if traffic permits).
Always keep a safe distance from the curb, you don't want to run over them and instant fail.

Besides hook turns, no.
