It lets you type letters in as well o_O

As for doing it legitimately, does using a touch pad count?  :P

What's ice skating like?
Harder than rollerblading but not as sweaty due to this temperature the ice rink is kept at; very slippery; bone crunching; wet arses and clothing; a chance that you will slice a friend's finger off; knee injuries when crashing into the barriers; having a cry on the side while the pros overtake you heaps of times; learning that you should skate in one direction; sore feet that may have skin ripped off by the shoes since your socks were of low quality; taking your friend(s) down with you when you fall whilst avoiding their blade.

The blade's pretty blunt (if renting) and a finger would come off only if you deliberately skate over the top of someone's hand multiple times. I may be incorrect, don't hold me to it if you try.

Good fun though!

Lots of fun. It's only difficult (compared to rollerblading) the first time you try it; after that, it's just a bit uncomfortable because rented skates are shit for your feet (in my case at least because I have really narrow feet and it leads to very painful blisters).

On the whole, though, it can be lots of fun.

What's ice skating like?

I love ice skating! I started when I was 10, but then afterwards stopped and started and now I'm crap. It takes a while to learn how to skate forwards properly, but after you can stop and start general sessions should be fine. Just a few things:

- The centre of the rink is safest during general sessions
- Never try any tricks during general sessions
