Level 1, 2, 3 subjects?

Does anyone understand this mumbo jumbo? Do level 1 subjects have to be done in first year? How about level 2 in 2nd year and level 3 in third year? Could you theoretically do a level 3 subject in year 2 given that you have all the prereqs? How about a level 1 subject in second year? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You can only do up to 10 level-1 units in your course, with a minimum of 4 level-3 units from your faculty. I'm pretty sure you can do level-1 subjects in second year, and I just sent them an email about that level-2/3 stuff. ^^

I got this off the commerce course planning guide, so I'm not sure if it applies for the other courses as well.

Corp and tax are only offered in semester 2, iirc. It wouldn't be possible to do them in the same year. You could possibly do PBL and corporate law in the same year, though.

Well you theoretically could if you had the space right?? they're co-requisites aren't they?

This year I have to do a Third Year subject called Fluid Mechanics in my second year of Engineering.
And yes, you can do a level 1 subject in second year....

Oh yes, my mistake. In taxation law, it has corporate law in the prereq field, but it says you can do both concurrently. So yeah, if you have the space.

Usually a course will have a requirement that you complete a minimum amount of level 1 units before you can complete a level 2 unit. So in my degree (at Monash) you have to complete 3 first year units before you can undertake a level 2 unit.
So that means you can do it in semester 2

Check the requirement for your degree

For batcherlor of commerce, when it says you have to do atleast 87.5 points of level-1 subjects, does that include breadth?
