Converting a word document to a PDF.

Apologies for being so retarded with computers, but could someone please help me. I'm struggling with converting a simple word document to a PDF file on Adobe Reader.

Do I have to install something?? What steps do I take? I've googled it buts it just confuses me haha such a tard..

I would use PDFCreator on SourceForge, but if it works then great!

I'll just chip-in even though there's already a solution:

http://www.novapdf.com/ - used it to convert many files. Acts as a "printer", so you can easily print from any program to pdf

(although nitropdf is way better I must admit, but its trialware)
