It's a testimonial.
...by it's (partial?) owner.
Well yeah. He was merely stating that he had wished it was around when he was in high school? It's merely a wish, not an all out "this is a great site, everyone join, I liked it"<<<that would have been sus .

Considering when designers first create a site there is a lot of empty spaces with 0 users to start off with, you do need to start somewhere.

I was merely answering Reitas question  "And why does it have this quote on its homepage", with the subtle answer of "because" =.=*

Yeh I wasn't refuting what you said ahah; more pointing out the weirdness of it all considering how easy it would be to get another testimonial.

Haha, don't worry about it, I deleted the post because I got what you meant afterwards :P

LOL! It's like the 3rd time that happens to me when we quote each other! This time though I used my brain a little :)

I was paid to say that testimonial (jokes)

I don't think I've ever said that though, but it is my sentiment. It's a placeholder ATM.

But going back on topic, didn't any1 find BOS weird for posting that =.=*
I think most veteran VN'ers have built up a sense of immunity towards really anything that goes on at BoS.

Heh... agreed.
That place has some craaazy shit going on >.>

There are no funny moments left as all the funny members have left.
