Hmm, forgive me if I'm wrong about my own intentions, but it was not to be subtle -- rather to point out a spectrum of where sites lie in terms of preferences (social/discussion versus Q&A).

(And there's nothing wrong with VN being in the middle -- it's what some people want. Merspi is creating it's own market, finding it's own cage.)

I think most veteran VN'ers have built up a sense of immunity towards really anything that goes on at BoS.
