NEW Facebook Layout!!!

i log into fb 2day only 2 find that theyve completely changed the layout!

The Highlights on the right-hand side have been removed!

The posts in the News Feed are all over the place! (its as if fb has decided whats "news-worthy" for us)

And just after we spent the last couple of months getting used to the previous layout, they spring this new one on us, with no warning beforehand!

What does everyone else think about the change lol?

I like it.

The more they change, the less I want to sign in, and the more time I save which I would've otherwise wasted on facebook.

Seems even more hectic now than it used to be. I'm stuck at either extreme; seeing ONLY the most important stuff, or seeing absolutely everything including pointless stuff like friends adding other people.

it seems to report "blah blah has become friends with so and so" more often now but I don't really see any improvements/negative things to it.

The irony is that the original Facebook had friend adds pop up in the newsfeed, and that once they changed that, people started complaining.  Now they're complaining that it's back.

The "News Feed" option works like a forum; stuff that has been commented on a second ago will pop up, so no, it's not Facebook "prioritising" things.  You can just switch back to Live feed if you want anyway.

I don't get it.  What's the difference between the "Live Feed" and the "News Feed" besides seeing whose friends with whom?
