If you do decide to repeat I strongly advise you to choose either another school (do some research using data from vcaa about average SS's and stuff) or TAFE or like somone else said something about distance ed.

Yeah I wont repeat vce at my school .... maybe at some tafe or something

I got 97.9 but its a bit lower thne my first preference which was medicine at monash, I got a pretty good umat though so im hoping i can scrape in somehow, if not biomed or physio!

does anyone know if they take the raw score or scalled score when printing your name in the paper? I got 42 in systems, but it got scalled down a sh*t load....to 35

I was wondering the same thing. I got 39 for Methods and 33 for Specialist, both of which scale above 40.
Edit: Thanks Ahmad... Looks like my name won't be in the paper

And WTF? I got 39 in Information Systems last year, and it scaled down to 36.93. Looks like the scaling's changed heaps this year

Software developement this year got scaled worse than info systems 30 went to 26 not 27

im sorry to hear you didnt do as well as you wanted odette...cheer up! im also disappointed with my results. you must have done okay in BM though, you were always helping others out with it! like me hahah =D

i got 39 for BM though so pissed offfff lol. really wanted a 40 oh well.

aww odette don't worry too much about it... your whole future is not destroyed! but yea, you should maybe let your parents know that you have tried your best and could they please understand that and not condemn you further because you are already disappointed enough in yourself. that's what i do >.< my mum called me a pain in the ** after i told her my results (along with explaining the scaling stuff) n i just closed two doors behind me at her n she came after me asking if legal scales up =.=
