Crysis on PC

hey since my last exam was today, Im planning to suffocate myself with nonstop gaming. Has anyone got Crysis installed on their PC, does it work well??


Im planning to get it but Im not sure if my pc will handle it well. here are my specs:

Intel(R) Core(TN) i7 CPU   920@ 2.67GHz (8CPUS)~2.8GHz
Memory- 4094MB RAM
DirectX 10
ATI Radeon HD 4670, approx memory-2809MB
I run on vista home

Do you think thats enough to play Crysis, I know my graphics card is weak but I might get a better one soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 4870 X2 with 4gb ram and 3.6ghz quad core and it doesnt even run that smooth, You would probs average sub 20 fps with that video card.
If your gonna upgrade youd want nothing short of a 4870 x2/gtx 295.

Its not smooth coz of the card not cpu, its not cpu intensive, but even if u upgrade ur card, you wud need a bloody good one to run Cysis well. Its not the best game, I suppose the first time u play its like fukn amazing coz of the grafix and the stunning effects but  probs wont ever play more than once.

Should be. Crysis is just in another playing field when it comes to computers so me saying ur comp cant handle it in no way implies ur comp cant handle other games. Crysis just has extremely shit fukn coding so it sux for grfx cards. Gta 4 should be fine.

Btw, since ur processor is strong but ur grafix card isnt the best, a good game to look at is Supreme commander, extremely cpu intensive but not so hard on the grafix. Although, the game isnt something that everyone wud like, its kinda niche, have a look though. Its the only game I ever play anymore.

Oh really, thats how I beat the computer on hardest difficulty (cheating a.i), I beat fukn cheating ai man and plus I vsed 3 on 1 on hard difficulty and won.
