Are you using any sound/lighting effects or anything?
How many character changes are you having?

I'd suggests acting in your character all morning, or if you can, the whole day before! This means walking around, talking, eating, and doing daily tasks all in your character so you know that as soon as you have to start your monologue you'll be able to get back into that character. Be confident, just practice lots the days leading up to it, and it should all come naturally:) goooodluck!

Perform in front of a drama teacher or somebody beforehand.  They will be able to offer the best advice in terms of individual performance.

Perform to yourself in front of a mirror as well, and observe the way you look when you do things.  Record yourself and listen to your words - do they sound natural or forced?  Make sure your actions themselves don't detract from what you're saying.  Also, make sure you speak clearly.
