what if harry potter became a vampire=P
Got the pic from here: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=239199051442&v=info ^^
Lol I'm different, I actually thought R.Patz was cute/hot when he played Cedric. I find Edward reaaaaalllly unattractive. Probably the sickly pale skin and the permanently pissed off face. And for some reason, his jaw just looks so much larger when he's playing Edward. o_o

The idea of Harry Potter as a vampire... hmm. I can't see it haha.

Go read Lolita if you haven't.

I know this was mentioned pages ago, but complete +1 on the Lolita recommendation. Easily amongst the best books I've ever read. And comic, too, in its own way.

Anyway, I'm currently reading:
nonfiction: Chomsky's "Syntactic Structures" XD *geeks out*
fiction: "Ransom", David Malouf

For my favourite book, I've got a tough interplay between books I absolutely adored as a kid (but which are for children at the end of the day) and ones I've since read which stay with me more, though I can't say I enjoyed them as much as, say, Harry Potter.

The best books I read as a kid I would say are (in no particular order): Series of Unfortunate Events; The Tomorrow Series, His Dark Materials and, of course, Harry Potters. I also liked the Artemis Fowls, and, for whoever mentioned Redwall, I had the same infatuation until I realised so many of them are exactly the same story just with slightly different characters or settings.

More adult books I love are: The Count of Monte Cristo, a Tale of Two Cities and For Whom the Bell Tolls. I also really liked Metamorphosis and Nineteen Eight-Four (lucky I ended up studying it in Year 12).

I'm currently reading Lolita and the Great Gatsby, and had to look through the Prince by Machiaveli this week for Uni.

i really enjoy fantasy stories... the sword of truth series by terry goodkind was awesome..
also the drizzt do urdan books by r.a. salvatore were very good..
when i originally read the deltora quest books by emily rodda, they were epic!
tin tin and asterix were very good comics ;)
and i always enjoyed the storyline of the green knight.. written in the dark ages by an unknown author.
when i was younger, my mum would pretty much borrow about 25 books from the library, and i would read them all in about two weeks before we had to return them.
ended up loving it when i enjoyed a book, and they ended up being part of a series.. and(or) they were about 1000 pages.
never wanted those books to end.
oh yeah. i couldnt forget the just series from andy griffiths. (just tricking, just annoying, etc..)
