Is it possible to change from one overfull class to another overfull class? Can the student advisers available next week do that? I'd prefer to have my physics prac in the morning and my chem in the afternoon, but all the classes are overfull :(

Also, one of my subjects is a level 2 breadth subject which appears under University breadth subjects but is listed by the Faculty of Medicine. On the SIS site it says the Uni breadth subjects should appear on the timetable, but on my actual timetable is has "Not of Alloc8" written next to the subject. How do I choose tute/lecture times for this subject?

Question
How do I sign up for my classes?

Answer..
The majority of subjects use Alloc8 to sign up for your classes. The remainder require you to manually sign up for your classes. Contact the teaching department of your subject to find out how this is done.

does that help at all?

iirc, they won't help for reasons like that. i'll try and find a link.

https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/cgi-bin/subjects.pl and type in the subject code is what I did to find out the lecture for a subject not on Alloc8. It turned out there was only only (double) lecture for that subject.

I have a timetable clash! And whenever I try to edit it never works. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do, I'm battling here and my timetable so far is shocking.

Considering I have to go everyday, due to stupid Calculus 2 on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Intro Micr 102 on Tues, Thurs, I have chosen to equally space it out. I have came up with two variants.

Timetable 1 - start everyday at 11am, and finish at 2pm on 2 days, and 3pm on 3 days. No more than 3 hours per day.

Timetable 2 - start Mon and Tues at 10am finish and finish at 12pm (if Transition 625 is really not necessary on Tues), Thurs just moved the 2pm lecture to 10am, enabling me to finish at 1pm rather than 3pm. Wed and Fri same as above. No more than 3 hours per day as well.

Right now, I've got set my timetable as the second one.....

But I'd still rather free days!  :tickedoff:
2008 ENTER = 97.90

thanks. It's strange though... on the handbook site it says two 1 hour lectures per week and one 1 hour tute per week.. but on the sis timetable site, it says lecture monday and wednesday at 1... and then it has this for the tute:
"800205 W01/01 06th & 20th Mar Friday 1:00pm - 2:00pm Th:ERC-Charles Pearson Theatre 1 hour"
Does that mean that I only have tutes on the 6th and 20th of March, or I start tutes then, or will the tute times changes for the other weeks... I'm confused
