Sorry about the noob question. But is it possible to get the umat past exams? Or do you have to buy them?

They don't release past exams, but you could buy practice questions off the ACER site...

Hey guys im tossing up between these two:
The premium package http://www.nie.com.au/courses.html#groupDiscounts
OR
Resource package http://www.f2fumat.com.au/index.php?p=pns_resources.html

Not sure which one is more worth it?

Also for https://umatreg.acer.edu.au/booklets.php
is the practice test 2 the same as 1 ? Or are they different?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

On the website it says practise test 1 is included in your registration for UMAT. So no you won't need practise test 1

There are currently two booklets of preparation materials available in the form of e-books: UMAT Practice Test 1 and UMAT Practice Test 2. The e-books can be purchased for A$35 each. They are equivalent to a full test and will take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete under exam conditions. UMAT Practice Test 1 will be included with the UMAT2010 registration. This e-book is an updated edition of the UMAT Practice Test first published in 2008 and it contains some new questions. UMAT Practice Test 2 is a brand new publication.

Practice Test 1 is an updated version of the older practice test we had last time and comes with your enrolment so you don't have to buy that.

Practice Test 2 is also a practice test and is completely new. You have to buy this if you want it.

Hey guys,

I'm most likely going to sign up to MedEntry some time soon. Though, I'm curious about something...

What do they cover in their workshops? Would it be better to take the workshops early in the year or in June/July?

I would also like to know whether it is better to do the workshops early in the year or closer to the UMAT.
